DEN Boston Mission Statement
The mission of the Dartmouth
Entrepreneurial Network of Boston (DEN Boston) is to foster relationships
among its members educate them about founding, operating, and financing
entrepreneurial endeavors
Our community includes the alumni, students,
and faculty of Dartmouth College, the Tuck School of Business, the Thayer
School of Engineering and the Dartmouth Medical School who live or work
in the Boston area.
We strive to use our common
ties to Hanover to create an atmosphere of trust and familiarity for
all of our members.
Principles of the Community
1) TRUST. The DEN Boston community
expects to operate in an atmosphere of trust and cooperation. The community
will emphasize respect for fellow members, their ideas, and their intellectual
property.
2) SUPPORT. DEN Boston will
emphasize support for entrepreneurial endeavors. This may include support
in the form of introductions, networking, meetings, talks, committees
and other events focused on helping entrepreneurs.
3) EDUCATION. DEN Boston will
foster a community that can broaden the outlooks of all members. We
strongly encourage participants to reach out, meet people in new fields,
and learn more about entrepreneurship.
4) FEEDBACK. DEN Boston relies
heavily on input from participants in its events. Feedback and participation
are welcome on all aspects of DEN Boston and its mission.
